Custom Carved signs by Wooden Apple SignmakersFounded in 1976 by Bob and Betty Padden, Wooden Apple Signmakers has been creating truly outstanding and original custom carved signs for homes and businesses across the country. Noted for their original designs as well as their flawless execution of each carved sign, these master carvers continue to be the hands-on creative force of the company, giving each custom sign or carving the care and attention only an owner of the firm would.

They have been featured in numerous articles and magazines, including “Sign Builder's Illustrated”, “Market Square News”, “Country Marketplace”,  “Giftware News” and “Woodcarving Illustrated”. 

Their clients have included the Disney Company, Anheuser-Busch and the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division, to name a few. They are also the authors of “Lettering and Woodcarving Workbook” published by Fox Chapel Publications.

Betty Padden has also been a licensed artist since 2001 with Linda McDonald Inc, creating original artwork for such companies as Ne Qwa, Blossom Bucket, Lang Company, Downeast Inc, Kurt Adler, and others. Bob and Betty have also been giving instruction in their craft for over 30 years.
